Jaypaw at the moonpool

"He lurched on his paws,confused at the sudden return to blindness and the scents and sounds of the stone hollow. Every hair on his pelt still quivered with the feelings of grief and anger and betrayal he had felt in the cave."

This is part of an exercise I'm doing to help me get into drawing cats,you're welcome to try it too if you want. I pick a random warriors book (yes I have most of them on my book self XD) and flip through it until I find a chapter. then I read one of the first paragraphs and draw it.

This is my first try,it's supposed to be Jaypaw (yes I know he's Jayfeather now,but in the book I got the paragraph from he's still Jaypaw) in the cave near the moonpool. I'm pretty happy with this overall,The only think is that I don't think I captured Jay's emotion too well,then again,I do suck at faces and eyes for cats. The background came out kinda weird and kinda cool. I put the blue light around Jayfeather since he's one of the "three" and yes I know,Hollypaw and lionc]blaze should have been in this scene too,but I was too lazy.

Oh and the Paragraph at the beginning is from The power of three,book three(Outcast),Chapter 9.Paragraph 2.
